Sadly I only come here when I’m getting a windshield repaired around the corner. Over the years I’ve never been disappointed. I should look forward to getting more chips and cracks just to be able to come here and snag a pastry or sandwich.
Cute welcoming entrance with beautiful roses which the gardeners were replacing with hydrangeas. They have a variety of pastries and desserts. The warmed chocolate croissant was soft, flaky and the melted chocolate was delicious. The Cafe Latte tasted too chocolatey and didn't taste like coffee at all. They serve baguette sandwiches which I didn't try as it was still early for lunch. They have a large sitting area inside to accommodate the businesses around especially the people working at the big Stanford University medical building across the street. Street parking so kinda difficult unless you park in the big garage across. Gave the 3 star rating because of the coffee. Otherwise, I'm sure the pastries and sandwiches are delicious.
Enjoyed a delicious slice of Mango Cheese cake. Not heavy, the mango did not over power.
Service was quick and friendly.
The only gripe is the parking, or lack of.
Wonder how many people leave due to little parking?
Beautiful baked goods with a good variety of options. Ordered a few pastries for a friend who recently had a baby & got a treat for myself--the milkshake-something-or-other. It was too sweet for my liking, which is saying a lot, but wasn't bad by any means. Also, the prices were on the expensive side.
The chai is Oregon Chai, which is a bit sweet for my taste. (Oregon does have a spicy version; I'd go much more often if they offered it!) My pastry was delicious. They do have oat milk, but it could be better quality. Looking forward to trying lunch here sometime.
Honestly the best bakery I’ve been to!! My niece always buys from here and puts it on her Instagram and raves about it. So I thought let me give it a try! It was my best friends bday the next day, so I went online to order a custom cake and it wouldn’t let me choose pick up for the next day. I wasn’t sure why so I called in and asked why and they said it was because with custom cakes you have to order them 48 hours in advance. Disappointed with myself, the lady told me to hold on the phone for a minute to see if she can do something for me (as the cake I was ordering was the really small one 6x6). She came back to say we will make it happen for you no problem. I was so happy and grateful that they would do that for me, and have it ready early the next morning ! The cake was so beautiful and so delicious too!! Super fresh cream and strawberries and the cake part was super tasty ( not too sweet either)! I would highly recommend this place!!! from now on I will definitely be buying all my bday cakes and treats from here. And not to mention the service was amazing!
I had a Lemony Tuna Sandwich and Tiramisu on a beautiful day “today”❣️🙏🏼👅💦 …
Great coffee, fresh baked French pastries, incredible sandwiches, what more do you want!?
